I have to admit that I’m not much of a Black Gun Person. I like old guns. Old Rifles, Old Shotguns and Old Handguns. I love muzzle loaders and cartridge guns equally. There’s just a grace and eloquence about old guns that’s been lost in the modern world.
Yesterday, I ran across an old 1900′s era, single barrel 12 gauge shotgun. It needed some work, but nothing serious. It was a Columbia.
Over the years, I think everyone and their brother made the Columbia and I suspect this was made by Harrington & Richards.
Well…I bought it and stayed up most of the night restoring it to full function. It is now ready to take out for rabbits or quail.
